Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically mixed family. She's English but her father was Nigerian. Her family was in the southern part of London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned a BA degree in acting. She performed in various performances on stage during her school days, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her career as an actor in the movie Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The film's success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside playing the character of Ollie. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe played the lead role for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy made in 2008. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the ABC drama series Revenge during two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she was set to leave the series after making a guest episode in the initial episode of season three. In the TV series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Then, in June of 2012 she was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her four older brothers were also in the family including twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's four brothers, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning they grew up mostly in parks and arenas. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. As she was two and a half, she started Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley competed in top-level divisions of tap, jazz hip hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished in high school. All of the big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top soloist".
