Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily in Tamil or Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's Father is a Lawyer who is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister currently working and living in Leuven Belgium working as a Research assistant. Jeremiah is originally from Chennai. She was a student at National Public School, and then graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano around the age of eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. She joined the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. This group formed the foundation for her music and singing career. She worked as a stage artist at her university and participated in several productions through The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. Andrea was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career in theatre began with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Her 2006 role in the brand new Leo Coffee advert included Shiva. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in a TV show airing on Podhigai. She has appeared in all parts of India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's climax, (2005). She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. He asked her to join his lead female characters in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani, a housewife whose husband has had an affair. The character was allegedly targeted for blackmail. Andrea was picked to play the character following the actors Simran Tabu and Tabu were approached. Released in Early 2010. Her minor role was accepted in Venkat's Mankatha in 2011, in which she starred alongside a variety of actors. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic flick in 2013.
