Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th in 1967) is an American actor and a singer. Her career began when she was a teenager. She is recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and car salesman. She has three siblings. As a teenager, she performed at nightclubs when she escaped from her home. She began studying acting at when she was 13 years old at Wooster School, then studied acting at the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American model, actress and singer. She was born April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is an German American policeman and an auto salesman. Kari was born in a family with four children. As a teen, Kari performed in nightclubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari at the time was 13 years old studied at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known for her work as Uta. Kari began her journey into acting at the age of 13 and got her first big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
